Summary

Who we are

Nevada Crypto operates nevada-crypto.com, an independent informational and comparison website about cryptocurrency in Nevada. You can reach us at contact@nevada-crypto.com.

What we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we hold your email address and whatever you wrote, for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to keep a record of corrections. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records the usual technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp. This is generated automatically by web servers and is used for security and to keep the site running.

Aggregate analytics, where used. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are read. Any such measurement is used in aggregate. We do not build profiles of individual readers and we do not attempt to identify you.

What we do not collect

  • Names, addresses or phone numbers, unless you email them to us
  • Financial information of any kind — we never handle payments
  • Wallet addresses, exchange credentials or recovery phrases. We would never ask, and you should never send them to anyone
  • Account data, because there are no accounts on this site

Cookies

This site is built as static pages and does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Where analytics or an embedded third-party resource is used, that provider may set cookies under its own policy. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies; nothing on this site requires them to function.

Partner links

Some links on this site are partner links. If you follow one and open an account, the destination platform may record that the visit came from us so that a commission can be attributed. That is standard affiliate tracking and it tells us that a referral happened — it does not tell us who you are or what you did on their site.

Once you follow an outbound link, you are on someone else's site under their privacy policy, not ours. Our commercial arrangements are set out in full on the editorial policy page.

Third-party services

The site is hosted by a third-party provider, which processes server logs as described above. Fonts are self-hosted on our own domain rather than loaded from a third party, which means no font provider receives your IP address when you read a page.

Outbound links to regulators, exchanges and other sites are provided for reference. We have no control over those sites and no responsibility for their privacy practices.

How long we keep things

Email correspondence is kept as long as it is useful — typically until an enquiry is resolved, and longer where it forms part of a correction record. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period under its standard practice. Aggregate analytics do not identify individuals.

Your rights

Nevada law provides residents with rights concerning the sale of certain personal information, and other US state privacy laws provide broader rights depending on where you live. Since we do not sell reader data to anyone, there is nothing to opt out of — but if you would like to exercise any right, including asking what we hold about you or asking us to delete it, email contact@nevada-crypto.com and we will deal with it.

If you are contacting us from outside the United States, the same applies: tell us what you want and we will do it.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be described rather than made silently.
